Timeless Beauty of Kindness
Fall is a reminder that a season so beautiful, with it's stunning colors and shapes, comes and goes like a dream. All the more reason to revel in the golden and red hues of maples trees, and the unique spectrum of all the shades in between.
This year, a little fundraiser idea that started with casual conversations about fashion many years ago, materialized into a gathering that felt so inspiring, so hopeful, so beautiful. And reminded us that Kindness is always in style, and always possible. Thank you to our Tribe, who donated, showed up and stepped up to support women and children fleeing violence and abuse. Because of you over 68,000 was raised to be shared between Cornerstone Housing for Women, Harmony House, Interval House, Nelson House, and Chrysalis . The outpouring of generosity for the women served by these shelters was incredible to see, and was another reminder to us...we have the privilege of caring for so many beautiful souls. Thank you for inspiring us every day. Some of you not only gave your presence, you wanted to show so much care for the women in need through thoughtful and intentional gifts of handmade art, poetry, and drew in others from your circle to join in this togetherness project. It was amazing to see what potential there is in the collective goodwill.

Thank you to our co-MC's Derek Fage and Alyssa Beltempo, and fashion show director Leslie-Anne Barrett, without whom it would have been impossible to coordinate the runway show featuring the 4 local boutiques. Vincent, Fashion United, Shepherd's Fashion, and Manhattan West did not disappoint- the vibe of collaboration was so special throughout the night, from having the five shelters represented under one roof, to sharing enthusiasm for the different boutiques featured in the show. The night was all about celebrating local, supporting the people and place where we live, and giving back to our community.
Professional Entertainment Group executed perfectly the AV logistics for the event (including building a 40 foot runway in the historic allsaints Event Place!), and our own Lalaine Castilla was the super-glue that held everything together, in addition to wearing so many hats in organizing, working with Black Clover Design, and making the creative vision come to life.
5 Ways to Keep Glowing with BBL
BBL or broadband light treatment clarifies skin by reversing signs of inflammation and sun damage. Redness and spider veins are a common symptom of Rosacea, and can be effectively reduced and managed by BBL energy.
