Look to the Light


This year has been a hallmark one, lots of new and innovative things were introduced at SKin Phi. We're coming up to our 4th year Anniversary, and we are reminded every day that we look to the LIGHT, let our inner light shine, and try to draw out the light we see inside each and every person!


This image is one that I chose for our website landing page in 2022. She perfectly embodies the SKin Phi spirit. Her name is Strength and Confidence, she looks up and draws courage from the optimism of time, and celebrates her complexity, doesn't want to erase any of the markings of wisdom, she loves and laughs at the days to come. She is you and me, and we are so honoured to create this Tribe with you 💖

Sofwave and HArmonyCa


We recently hosted a Sofwave Showcase afternoon at the clinic. 30 lucky attendees got the scoop on Sofwave and HArmonyCa success stories and information, watched live Sofwave treatments, received a wonderful giftbag filled with Vivier products, Hale Derma and a chance to win Allergan gifts of Botox! These two programs blend together perfectly, in fact, sometimes we describe HArmonyCa as the injectable Sofwave to targeted areas. They both work so well to help the soft tissue "fit the face better!"


Our Sofwave program is only as successful as it is because:

  1. We select candidates based on their unique medical and anatomic needs. If you don't have the indications for treatment or your laxity is too severe and you need something else, we don't recommend the Sofwave for you. We want to see results!

  2. Our Sofwave providers are nurses who see the FULL 360 degrees of your face and your needs. We know the best results are synthesized by the right solutions for accurately assessed needs, and our goal is to help you achieve best results with best value. (NOT sign you up to do as many procedures and treatment sessions as possible). Your face is as unique as your fingerprint, in fact, even the two sides of your face have subtle differences and require a bespoke touch to achieve an aesthetic balance. Notice, I am saying "balance" not perfect symmetry, we are not perfectly symmetrical and that's quite normal!

  3. We don't stop deploying energy to the skin until we know there is maximum treatment thresholds reached for optimal results. No "calling it in" or just following a template or algorithm for every face. This is why pain management and your comfort throughout the treatment experience is so important, we want to be able to treat the areas of concern with the highest level of safety and efficacy so the outcome is not compromised. This is the SKin Phi Way.


HArmonyCa is the perfect finishing touch to an already beautiful glow. Just look at this patient who was one of my early case studies for HArmonyCa

I am so very pleased to be part of the HArmonyCa vanguard. HArmonyCa is a Health Canada approved injectable filler and was Nationally Launched a couple of months ago, although it was been used broadly in the EU and Brazil for 5-6 years. A UNIQUE HYBRID combination of hyaluronic acid gel and biostimulatory calcium hydroxyapatite, this product is a stunning new way to firm and lift skin in strategic areas. There's a new sheer zinc in town, and this one boasts a number of cutting edge benefits for skin. Epicutis is the "clean tech" skincare line from the labs of Princeton University. 21% ZINC is the photoprotecting active, and a beautiful universal tint gives added protection against blue light spectrum (especially important for treating and preventing melasma)

SKin Phi has been committed to giving back to our local community. Philanthropy is just part of the fabric of our clinic. We have supported Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, Harmony House, Salus Ottawa, the Food Bank, Heart Institute, and more local level charities over the past few years. Many of our patients are leaders in Ottawa charitable organizations and are constantly inspiring us to pay it forward. We are the City of Kindness, and it's the kind of civic pride I can get behind!!


For a long time, I day-dreamed about a celebratory event: collaborating with other LOCAL owned businesses, supporting one another, and raising funds for key Women's Shelters in Ottawa. Well it only took 6 years, but it's finally coming to fruition this year!


Our First ever DRESS WITH POCKETS fundraiser event will feature a fashion show curated by several beloved local and women-owned boutiques in Ottawa.Ticket go on sale in August and watch for the silent auction items being announced in Sept... if you can't get a ticket to the fashion show, you can still bid on the silent auction items! It will be a fun filled night in solidarity for supporting : Cornerstone Housing for Women, Harmony House, Nelson House, Interval House, and Chrysalis)
