Has Time been Kind?

I would say yes, for the most part. I firmly believe that we the living have the distinct privilege of getting older every year. Ageing appropriately is natural, and should be celebrated. We are so fortunate now to have resources, tools, and scientific information to facilitate health and function in longevity.

I feel extremely lucky to have met one of the pioneering laser and cosmetic Dermtologists in my 20's and worked most of my nursing career along side Dr. Sharyn Laughlin. Sunscreen, lasers, a little preventative Botox (now corrective Botox) and filler have ushered me through my 30's and 40's. Now being faced with perimenopause and all the tribulations of that hormone transition, I am ever grateful for retinol, zinc sunscreen, BBL and Moxi laser, and my new favourite tool for time-reversing... the Sofwave.

The descent is real. I started to notice a sadness or sagging in the lower third of my face in the past year or so. I have a naturally full and square face (like my mother) and I prefer not to use filler for jawline or lower face augmentation, sometimes that can just make the lower face look heavier.
